The Georgia baseball program began in 1886 but has seen its most successful seasons beginning in the late 1980s. Since 1987, the Bulldogs have made six College World Series appearances in Omaha. Steve Webber is the winningest coach in the history of the program, amassing 500 wins in 16 seasons, most notably the 2-1 victory over Oklahoma State in the 1990 National Championship.
